| Is the cold weather getting you down? Take advantage of SecretNet's rapid turnaround. We've updated our site to specifically focus on getting goods for you that are fast to deliver to ease your cold winter suffering. Our site is now hiding items which are out of stock at our suppliers by default. Whilst this is not perfect in all cases, it does make the percentage of orders we have delivered to customers within 5 days (from out of stock to delivery to door) much higher. If the product you're looking for has 'disappeared' from the site, try searching for it. Items when searching will still display items which are also out of stock at our supplier (these are shown in Red text). If you don't like the new behaviour, simply login to the Customer Center and change it in Site Appearance under Change Settings. Keep in mind the stock counts on our site (for stock that is at our warehouse) is live and accurate. Finally, for the remainder of August, prices have been slashed significantly in all categories, at ALL hours for the day. So jump in now and take advantage of the most competitive pricing SecretNet has ever had to offer. Note: The system builder is currently offline. SecretNet is not currently shipping pre-built systems, however, with these current discounts, it works out cheaper to buy the parts individually. | As many have noticed, there are severe shortages on the new Intel Core 2 Duo processors. This situation is actually more severe even than has been reported. Price rises in Australia have been by as much as 40% and the amount of stock we have actually received during the lifetime of these CPUs has been minimal. We have only received one shipment of E8200 and E8400 CPUs (totalling less than 10 units each) and are yet to see any E8500 CPUs. In the meantime, we have re-listed the E6550, E6750 and E6850 CPUs. Whether this is a strategy by Intel or distributors to clear out stock of the E6000 series remains to be seen. Whatever the actual reason, this is very very poor form for Intel, and I wanted to apologise to customers for the delays. |
