And finally, thanks to everyone who voted for SecretNet in the PC Authority Reliability and Service Awards 2008.  As some have already pointed out, we won - sort of :-)  SecretNet was the highest rated retailer in this year's awards, however, as we ceased regular trade in September (ie. we are no longer ordering new stock), we were disqualified as a winner.

Still, we were mentioned both in the Web article and final magazine, and it's quite a humbling way to finish up.

Also, for those who are fans of the System Builder, please note that I will be launching a similar System Builder in 2009 that will allow you to choose parts from a variety of retailers and/or simply make a quote without a final price.  If you are a retailer who is interested in being involved in this program,  please send us an e-mail.

In the meantime, we still have a bit of stock to clear, so if you're looking for a bargain, be sure to check our stock clearance list.  Note that our prices have not risen due to the economic situation as this stock was purchased prior to the AUD crash and is priced to clear. In fact, we've actually just discounted them further.

Since SecretNet is not actually bankrupt or dissolved, and we're still trading (in order to clear stock and handle warranties), we are still eligible for voting.

Unlike 2006, PC Authority are this year giving away $17,000 worth of prizes.  You can win simply by filling in the survey! So go on then, vote for us, and anybody else you feel worthy of the award for 2008.

Also, we will continue accepting orders for out of stock goods over the weekend of the 6th for anybody wishing to get some last items that we do not normally stock.  Then the ability to order out of stock products will be shut off completely.

Sunday 7th, 23:59: Ordering out of stock items on our Web site is disabled.

Saturday 13th, 12pm - 4pm: Our 'official' last trading day of the shop.  Remaining stock from this list will be on display in the shop for sales on this day.  We will arrange suitable pick-up times for anybody with delayed pick-up orders still outstanding after this date.

Saturday 20th, 2pm - 5pm: Our 'wrap up' party.  All past and present staff and customers are welcome to come and enjoy pizza in the store, and share stories of the past 11.5 years.

We will continue to honour warranties after this time, however please be sure to read the RA approval e-mail carefully with regards where to send your item back for return/repair.  Do not ship any parcels to our current warehouse address without prior confirming that we have asked it to be sent to that address.

Update 16.09.2008: Just a note, as we've received a couple of e-mails.  You can still order goods which are in-stock at SecretNet to be shipped out to you.  We will continue shipping out orders for goods in stock as long as the stock is available.
